Hornsby Cardiac Diagnostic Unit is a specialist medical practice which has been providing complete cardiac diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients on the North Shore of Sydney and surrounding areas for over 25 years.

For most new consultations, and for referrals for diagnostic testing, appointments are usually available within one to two weeks. If it is felt your problem is more urgent, a phone call from your GP to one of our doctors will facilitate an earlier appointment. Reports from your consultation and test results are forwarded promptly to your referring doctor.
 

Our Staff

Cardiologists Drs Kevin Hellestrand, David Gray, Malini Govindan, Lachlan McDowall and Ashleigh Dind are very experienced in the fields of cardiac diagnosis, investigation and therapy. With the assistance of our expert Sonographers and Nurses we are well placed to diagnose and treat patients with cardiovascular problems.

Our cardiologists have admitting rights to Sydney Adventist, Hornsby and Ku-Ring-Gai District, Royal North Shore, North Shore Private, Macquarie Private, The Mater, Concord and the Hills Private Hospitals.

We provide specialist support to your General Practitioner, assisting in the management of your cardiac health, whether it be in relation to disease prevention, diagnosis, therapy or simply providing up to date advice. Our secretarial staff are friendly and efficient and always willing to assist patients with appointments and organising tests.
